There seems to be pretty ample evidence in the record (page 40) of JPL employee prejudice against David Coppedge’s religious beliefs. Here is one example:
Carmen Vetter: In the beginning, in the general getting to know each other, it became very apparent that our belief systems were different, and David was very intense in his beliefs, more intense than I was willing to work with, deal with in the workplace.
This seems to indicate that Vetter was not willing to tolerate the passion with which Coppedge held his beliefs.
